Bio:

Congratulations on one of the most exciting times of your life! I'm Amy and I'm a mother, wife, birth doula, and registered nurse. My love and appreciation for childbirth blossomed out of my own personal experience with the birth of my first child, which was supported by a doula in 2016. My passion is to help inform and support women through one of the most influential and defining periods of their life.

My peaceful, compassionate nature is met with a strong intuition and advocacy that comes from over ten years of experience as a nurse. Labor is a monumental experience in a woman's life and my role is to encourage and support you in having the birth you desire.

I believe a positive experience with birth starts with preparation in the prenatal period and continues with support throughout postpartum. It is an honor to be a part of each and every birth and I consider it a blessing to be able to serve as a doula.

When I’m not attending births or learning about all things perinatal, I love spending time with my husband and two wonderful children. We are usually outside hiking, exploring, or discovering new parks. Being a mom is my greatest joy. I also love cooking, live music, photography, and playing the piano.
